The clash between Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts will wrap up the action in the NFL 2021 season, Week 5. The home side looks forward to celebrating another victory, which would be their fourth in a row. The visitors want to build up on their latest success and start improving their record.
Baltimore lost in their season opener after overtime against the Raiders on the road, but they managed to improve after that. They are at a 3-1 record, and the hosts are joint-first in the AFC North. On the other hand, Indianapolis didn’t enjoy the start of the campaign, as they tied three defeats in a row. However, the away side comes from a 27-17 win over the Dolphins on the road, and they want to book another victory.
Baltimore Ravens – Can they keep their streak intact?
The Ravens enjoy a solid start to the NFL 2021 season, as they are at a 3-1 record. The opening round against the Raiders after overtime didn’t disrupt them, and Baltimore tied three wins in a row. They were better than the Chiefs at home in a tight 36-35 win. That one boosted their confidence, and the Ravens managed to beat the Lions and the Broncos on the road. It is going to be their second game in front of the home crowd, and the hosts look forward to another victory.
Baltimore was excellent in the second quarter against the Broncos last time, scoring 17 points in that period. They gained 406 total offensive yards against Denver while allowing only 254 total yards to their opponents. Lamar Jackson passed for 316 yards in the Ravens’ winning effort, with one touchdown. Justin Tucker picked up where he left off and kicked three field goals. Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson threw for 1,077 yards this season, with four TDs and three interceptions. Jackson is also the leading rusher with 279 yards, while Marquise Brown had 326 receiving yards. On the other hand, Patrick Queen leads the defensive corps with 27 total tackles, while Anthony Averett added a pair of interceptions.

Indianapolis Colts – Can they provide a surprise?
The Colts cannot be happy with their start of the campaign, as they are currently at a 1-3 record. They opened the season with three straight defeats, as the Seahawks, the Rams, and the Titans were better. However, Indianapolis managed to bounce back and celebrate their first win in the season by beating the Dolphins on the road last weekend. The Colts are currently second in the AFC South, being just one win below the Titans, who are topping the division.
Indianapolis cannot be happy with its passing game, as they are 25th in the league on that parameter with 214 yards through the air per match. Carson Wentz threw for 920 yards this season with five touchdowns and an interception, while he was sacked ten times. Jonathan Taylor is the Colts’ leading rusher with 274 yards, while Michael Pittman Jr. is the best receiver with 279 yards. In defense, Bobby Okereke logged a team-high 28 tackles, while Darius Leonard had one interception.
Expected Line-Up (Offense): Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman Jr., Zach Pascal, Parris Campbell, Jack Doyle, Eric Fisher, Chris Reed, Ryan Kelly, Mark Glowinski, Julie’n Davenport
Expected Line-Up (Defense): Kemoko Turay, DeForest Buckner, Grover Stewart, Al-Quadin Muhammad, Darius Leonard, Bobby Okereke, Zaire Franklin, Kenny Moore II, Andrew Sendejo, Julian Blackmon, Xavier Rhodes
Quarter Back: Carson Wentz
Kicker: Rodrigo Blankenship
Expert Pick #1 – Under 46.5 @-110
The Colts have been struggling in the offense so far, producing less than 21 points per match on average. The Under cashed six times in Baltimore’s last eight games, and I expect that trend to continue. Therefore, I’ll take the Under as my first pick.
Expert Pick #2 – Indianapolis Colts +6.5 @-105
I anticipate a tight match here, and although I believe the Ravens will win this game, the Colts are capable of covering the spread here. They are not too bad, and their confidence is higher after the latest victory. I’m taking Indianapolis ATS as my second bet.
Expert Pick #3 – Ravens to win by 1-6 @+320
On the other hand, if you want to try with longer odds, the Ravens to win by a 1-6 margin might be a reasonable choice. I think the hosts will celebrate for the fourth time in a row, but their victory won’t be very comfortable. Therefore, it’s my third pick for this matchup.
