We are just days away from the major NFL event of the season – the 55th edition of the Super Bowl. Of course, the focus is on Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes on the one side, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady on the other. The predictions of who will lift the Lombardi Trophy are heating up. The Chiefs have the chance to win the first back-to-back title since the 2003-04 Patriots. On the other hand, Brady is chasing his seventh trophy, which will cement his legacy as the Super Bowl’s best quarterback of all time.
Super Bowl is also the biggest wagering event of the season. Bettors can choose among hundreds, and sometimes even more than a thousand of prop bets. Punters can bet on literally everything, from the duration of the national anthem performance to the Super Bowl MVP. From the list of available prop bets, we have highlighted the top three, in our opinion.
National Anthem Length: Under (1:59)
We’ll start with the National Anthem Length bet. The timer for this wager starts when the performer sings the first word. The time is measured until the artist stops singing “brave.”
Looking back to some previous Super Bowl editions, the duration tends to be less than two minutes. Jose Feliciano’s rendition took 1:40 minutes, while Marvin Gaye’s went over two minutes. If we take Whitney Houston from the 1991 edition as an example, she stayed under two minutes. Looking into the latest Super Bowl, Demi Lovato was also under 120 seconds. We don’t think that Jazmine Sullivan or Eric Church will beat the two-minute margin, which would be our pick.

Gatorade Color: Blue
Gatorade bet has been very popular, and it constantly attracts many bettors. Everybody has their own logic behind picking the Gatorade color, so let’s g through some of them. A lot of people believe that the 55th Super Bowl Gatorade color will be purple. The speculation is that the color is chosen in honor of Kobe Bryant.
Others think it will be red. The reason behind this assumption is that it matches the scheme of both teams. However, the Gatorade colors matched the champion’s color only three times since 2000.
Ultimately, our choice is a blue Gatorade color. Brady seems to like the taste of that color and because we think Brady’s team will make it, blue is our choice. The odds are just around the middle, and we believe this selection could surprise everyone.
Coin Toss: Heads
This bet is related purely to luck. We have a 50% chance of winning, but just in case, we consulted some statistical parameters. And they say that since the Super Bowl I, tails came up 29 times, while heads resulted on 25 occasions. This time, we’ll pick heads and hope to see this outcome for the 26th time. Eventually, no matter what you choose, you will get the same odds. Don’t overthink and make the selection.
