Dallas Cowboys will meet Las Vegas Raiders in the NFL 2021 Week 12 action on Thursday afternoon. The hosts want to stay on top of their division and bounce back with a win. The away side has entered a poor run which they want to end at AT&T Stadium.
Dallas hasn’t been too consistent lately, as they booked only one win on the previous three occasions. Nevertheless, they still hold their fate under control and have a playoff spot in their hands. On the other hand, Las Vegas is on a decline, and the visitors urgently need to win. They may fall out of the post-season race if they lose another match.
Dallas Cowboys – Can they bounce back with a win?
The Cowboys sit in first place in the NFC East, but they haven’t been very confident lately. They lost 19-9 to the Chiefs on the road and are currently at a 7-3 record. Nevertheless, they are two wins ahead of the Eagles and in an excellent position to enter the playoffs. Although they haven’t been bad in defense, Dallas hasn’t impressed in the final third. Kansas City held them to just 276 yards in the offense, while they also turned the ball over three times. Dak Prescott passed for 216 yards but failed to find the end zone.
The Cowboys’ quarterback has thrown for 2,557 yards this season with 20 TDs and seven interceptions. Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard dominate the ground game with 1,190 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. However, no other player has generated 100+ rushing yards. CeeDee Lamb leads the receiving department with 740 yards and six scores, while Amari Cooper and Dalton Schultz have combined for 1,074 receiving yards and eight TDs. On the other hand, Jayron Kearse has 65 total tackles, while Micah Parsons sacked the opponent QBs eight times.
Expected Line-Up (Offense): Ezekiel Elliott, Cedrick Wilson, Noah Brown, Michael Gallup, Dalton Schultz, Ty Nsekhe, Tyron Smith, Connor McGovern, Tyler Biadasz, Zack Martin, Terence Steele
Expected Line-Up (Defense): Tarell Basham, Osa Odighizuwa, Carlos Watkins, Dorance Armstrong, Leighton Vander Esch, Keanu Neal, Micah Parsons, Anthony Brown, Jayron Kearse, Damontae Kazee, Trevon Diggs

Las Vegas Raiders – Will they end their losing run?
The Raiders’ campaign seems pretty similar to the previous ones when they failed to enter the post-season. After a flying start, their form has declined, and they are on the bottom of the AFC West with a 5-5 record. Nevertheless, they are still not out of the race for the playoffs spot, as Las Vegas is two wins away from the Chiefs, having one game in hand. However, they need to improve the form urgently, as the visitors lost three times in a row. That poor run started against the Giants on the road while they lost to the Chiefs and the Bengals at home.
Derek Carr has passed for 3,041 yards this season, with 16 scores and nine picks, while he has been sacked 22 times. Josh Jacobs has led the rushing department with 333 yards and five touchdowns, while Kenyan Drake gained 229 rushing yards and a pair of scores. Peyton Barber is another player who generated more than 100 rushing yards. Darren Waller is the best receiver with 610 yards and two TDs, while Hunter Renfrow, Henry Ruggs III, and Bryan Edwards generated 400+ yards each. On defense, Denzel Perryman dominates with 114 total tackles, while Yannick Ngakoue logged seven sacks.
Expected Line-Up (Offense): Josh Jacobs, Hunter Renfrow, Bryan Edwards, Zay Jones, Darren Waller, Jackson Barton, Kolton Miller, Jordan Simmons, Andre James, Alex Leatherwood, Brandon Parker
Expected Line-Up (Defense): Maxx Crosby, Quinton Jefferson, Johnathan Hankins, Yannick Ngakoue, Cory Littleton, Denzel Perryman, K.J. Wright, Nate Hobbs, Johnathan Abram, Tre’von Moehrig, Casey Hayward Jr.
Quarter Back: Derek Carr

Expert Pick #1 – Dallas Cowboys -7.5 @-110
Although the Cowboys haven’t been impressive lately, they are still more convincing than the Raiders. They shouldn’t miss a chance to bounce back with a win, and I believe they should cover the number here. Therefore, I’ll back the hosts ATS for my first pick.
Expert Pick #2 – Over 51.5 @-110
Both teams have been very good in the offense this season, and ten of the last 15 Las Vegas games went over the margin. As they haven’t been very disciplined in the back, I expect at least 52 points in this match, and it’s going to be my second bet.
Expert Pick #3 – Cowboys -3.5 & Over 45.5 @+115
I’ll combine for the plus money odds by lowering the spread and the totals margin. We could get more than double of our stake if Dallas wins by at least four points in a match that should exceed a 45.5 margin. I’ll go with this combo as my third pick.
