Green Bay Packers will host Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round of the NFL 2021 season on Sunday afternoon. The hosts want to extend their winning streak and stay at the top of the NFC North. The away side heads to this clash after two straight losses, and they will look forward to breaking their winless run.
Green Bay had a pretty tough challenge last weekend, but they managed to get back home with a win over the 49ers. They improved to a 2-1 record, and another victory would establish them at the first place in the NFC North. On the other hand, Pittsburgh fell to a 1-2 record after losing to the Bengals at home last weekend. The visitors will need to improve in the offense if they want to get away from the AFC North bottom spot.
Green Bay Packers – Can they keep their run going?
The Packers top the NFC North after beating San Francisco 49ers in a thrilling match last weekend. Green Bay turned around the result in the final seconds of the clash thanks to a field goal. They had a terrible start to the campaign after losing to the Saints 38-3, but the Packers managed to raise the level of their game in the past two rounds. Before beating the Niners, Green Bay was better than the Lions in the second round.
Aaron Rodgers didn’t exist in Week 1, but the Packers quarterback bounced back with excellent displays. He threw for 516 yards and six scores without an interception while completing 75% of his passes. Davante Adams generated 309 yards and a TD, while Aaron Jones went for 233 yards and five scores. On the other hand, Green Bay still needs to do better in defense, as they are allowing 333 yards per match on average. De’Vondre Campbell leads Green Bay’s defensive corps with 31 total tackles this season.
Expected Line-Up (Offense): Aaron Jones, Davante Adams, Amari Rodgers, Allen Lazard, Robert Tonyan, Yosh Nijman, Jon Runyan, Josh Myers, Royce Newman, Billy Turner
Expected Line-Up (Defense): Dean Lowry, Kenny Clark, Kingsley Keke, Preston Smith, De’Vondre Campbell, Oren Burks, Rashan Gary, Jaire Alexander, Adrian Amos, Darnell Savage, Eric Stokes
Quarter Back: Aaron Rodgers
Kicker: Mason Crosby

Pittsburgh Steelers – Can they bounce back?
The Steelers opened their campaign with a surprising victory over Buffalo Bills on the road. However, they tied two defeats, mostly due to a poor offense. Ben Roethlisberger is still the starting QB for Pittsburgh despite his very poor form. He has completed just a bit over 60% of his passes for 801 yards with just three TDs and three interceptions. Big Ben needs to improve his form and drive the Steelers back to the winning track.
On the other hand, Najee Harris has had a pretty good season so far, especially in the passing game. He logged 14 grabs for 102 yards against Cincinnati and a total of 60 catches for 272 yards. Although Pittsburgh’s defense is considered one of the tightest in the league, they have been struggling a bit so far. T.J. Watt has logged three sacks this year, while Joe Schobert had 21 total tackles. However, they allowed 14-18 passes last week and 382 yards in the air the week before without registering a single sack.
Expected Line-Up (Offense): Najee Harris, James Washington, Ray-Ray McCloud, Chase Claypool, Eric Ebron, Derek Watt, Dan Moore Jr., Kevin Dotson, J.C. Hassenauer, Trai Turner, Joe Haeg
Expected Line-Up (Defense): Chris Wormley, Isaiah Buggs, Cameron Heyward, Melvin Ingram III, Devin Bush, Joe Schobert, Jamir Jones, Joe Haden, Terrell Edmunds, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Cameron Sutton
Quarter Back: Ben Roethlisberger
Kicker: Chris Boswell
Expert Pick #1 – Green Bay Packers -6.5 @-115
After a bad start, Green Bay is on the rise, and they should keep up where they left off. Pittsburgh is in bad momentum, and the home side should take advantage of that. I expect the Packers to win this match and cover the spread. I’ll take them as my first pick.
Expert Pick #2 – Over 44.5 @-110
The Packers have been struggling in defense so far, and although the Steelers have been poor in offense, we might enjoy an efficient clash. The Over cashed six times in the last seven Green Bay matches, and I expect that trend to continue. Therefore, I’ll go for the Over as my second bet.
Expert Pick #3 – Packers to win by 13-18 @+450
The victory against the Niners provided a huge boost of confidence for the hosts, and they want to continue riding that wave. I believe they can celebrate a comfortable win, that should be in the interval of 13 to 18 points. If you want to try with longer odds, this might be the pick for you.
