Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers will face each other in one of the most exciting matches of the NFL 2021 Week 9. The home side searches for the way back to the playoffs spot race. The visitors have been excellent so far, but they will have trouble on the quarterback in this clash.
Kansas City has had too many hiccups so far, and they don’t have space for more mistakes. The hosts improved their form and hope for another victory. On the other hand, Green Bay has been among the most consistent teams this season. The away side wants to continue their streak and remain on the winning track.

Kansas City Chiefs – Can they get closer to the playoffs spot?
Despite a shaky performance, the Chiefs managed to beat the Giants last Monday. They improved to a 4-4 record, but the hosts are still at the bottom of the AFC West. However, Kansas City is only two wins away from the top-placed Raiders, and the Super Bowl finalists want another post-season campaign. Patrick Mahomes was not convincing last time, as he completed only 29 passes from 48 attempts for 275 yards. The Chiefs were fortunate not to lose, as they also made two turnovers.
Patrick Mahomes has thrown for 2,368 yards with 19 touchdowns and ten picks, while he has been sacked 16 times. Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been Kansas City’s leading rusher with 304 yards, while Darrel Williams and Mahomes had 200+ rushing yards each. Tyreek Hill leads the receiving corps with 735 yards and six TDs, while Travis Kelce has 560 yards and four scores. On the other hand, Nick Bolton leads the Chiefs’ defense with 66 total tackles, while Chris Jones and Mike Danna logged three tackles each.
Expected Line-Up (Offense): Darrel Williams, Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson, Travis Kelce, Michael Burton, Orlando Brown Jr., Joe Thuney, Creed Humphrey, Trey Smith, Lucas Niang
Expected Line-Up (Defense): Chris Jones, Jarran Reed, Derrick Nnadi, Frank Clark, Nick Bolton, Ben Niemann, Willie Gay, Rashad Fenton, Tyrann Mathieu, Juan Thornhill, L’Jarius Sneed
Quarter Back: Patrick Mahomes
Kicker: Harrison Butker

Green Bay Packers – Will they continue winning without Rodgers?
The Packers head to this match after beating the Cardinals last week, who were the only undefeated team in the NFL. They are currently first in the NFC North, and they will likely remain on the top of the division. However, Green Bay’s starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been tested positive for Covid-19 and will be out for this match. That could be a huge setback for the visitors, as Jordan Love will make his first-ever start in the NFL. The Packers celebrated seven times in a row for a 7-1 record and hope they can continue the run.
Aaron Rodgers has passed for 1,894 yards this season, with 17 touchdowns and three picks, while the opponents sacked him 17 times. Aaron Jones is the leading rusher with 463 yards and three TDs, while A.J. Dillon rushed for 309 yards. Davante Adams leads the receiving corps with 744 yards and three scores, while Robert Tonyan and Aaron Jones had 200+ receiving yards each. On defense, De’Vondre Campbell logged a team-high 76 total tackles, while Rashan Gary has 3.5 sacks.
Expected Line-Up (Offense): Aaron Jones, Equanimeous St. Brown, Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, Marcedes Lewis, Elgton Jenkins, Jon Runyan, Lucas Patrick, Royce Newman, Billy Turner
Expected Line-Up (Defense): Dean Lowry, Kenny Clark, Jack Heflin, Preston Smith, De’Vondre Campbell, Krys Barnes, Rashan Gary, Eric Stokes, Adrian Amos, Darnell Savage, Chandon Sullivan
Quarter Back: Jordan Love
Kicker: Mason Crosby

Expert Pick #1 – Green Bay Packers +7 @-110
Although they will play without a starting quarterback, the Packers could stay in the contest throughout the match. I’m not too impressed by the Chiefs, and the visitors might cover the spread here. I’m taking Green Bay ATS as the first pick.
Expert Pick #2 – Under 47.5 @-110
I don’t expect the Packers to generate many points in this clash while Kansas City struggled against the Giants. Therefore, I’m leaning towards the Under in this match, and I’m going to back this as my second bet.
Expert Pick #3 – Packers +13.5 & Under 50.5 @+135
Despite Aaron Rodgers’ absence, I’m a believer in the Packers, and therefore, combined the spread and totals for the third pick. If Green Bay loses, I don’t expect it to be by more than 13 points, while the match should stay under a 50.5 margin. The odds for this combo are pretty good.
