New York Giants will take on Los Angeles Rams on Sunday afternoon in the NFL 2021 season Week 6. The home side doesn’t enjoy a successful campaign, as they managed to celebrate just once in the first five games. The visitors are on a good run, and they have lost just one match so far in the season.
New York didn’t stand a chance against the Cowboys last week, and they suffered yet another defeat. Nevertheless, they should try to improve and put up as many wins as possible this season. On the other hand, Los Angeles bounced back after losing to the Cardinals two weeks ago. They are in a chase for the playoffs spot, and the away side expects to keep up where it left off last weekend.
New York Giants – Can they end the poor run?
Despite finishing second in the NFC East last season, the Giants booked only six wins. It seems this will be the worse campaign for New York, as they managed to beat only the Saints on the road after overtime. The Giants are at the bottom of the NFC East, and they should try to consolidate and improve the game in the upcoming period. They come from a 44-20 defeat against the Cowboys, in which Mike Glennon passed for 196 yards with a score and two interceptions. Kadarius Toney grabbed ten balls for 189 yards, while Devontae Booker rushed for 42 yards and a TD.
This season, Daniel Jones has passed for 1,282 yards with four touchdowns and an interception on 101/157 attempts. Kadarius Toney had 20 receptions for 281 yards, and he has a decent rookie season. On the other hand, the Giants have allowed 27 points per match on average, giving up 408 yards per game.
Expected Line-Up (Offense): Devontae Booker, C.J. Board, John Ross, Collin Johnson, Evan Engram, Elijhaa Penny, Matt Peart, Wes Martin, Billy Price, Will Hernandez, Nate Solder
Expected Line-Up (Defense): Dexter Lawrence, Austin Johnson, Leonard Williams, Lorenzo Carter, Tae Crowder, Reggie Ragland, Oshane Ximines, James Bradberry, Julian Love, Xavier McKinney, Adoree’ Jackson
Quarter Back: Mike Glennon

Los Angeles Rams – Is another victory in sight?
The Rams had a strong start into the new campaign, as they tied three victories in the first three rounds. They were better than the Bears at the season-opening while beating the Colts and the Buccaneers afterward. Arizona Cardinals broke their winning streak, but Los Angeles bounced back with a victory over the Seahawks last weekend. The visitors are second in the NFC West, right below the perfect Cardinals. Los Angeles dominated the second half against Seattle and scored 23 of their 26 points. QB Matthew Stafford threw for 365 yards with a score and an interception, while Darrell Henderson rushed for 82 yards and a TD.
Stafford has been averaging 310 passing and 98 rushing yards and has completed 117 of 182 passes and a total of 1,587 yards. Cooper Kupp leads the receiving corps with 523 yards on 37 catches, while Darrell Henderson gained 294 yards with three scores on 60 carries. Los Angeles have allowed 23 points per game on average and 388 total offensive yards to their opponents.
Expected Line-Up (Offense): Darrell Henderson Jr., Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson, Tyler Higbee, Andrew Whitworth, David Edwards, Brian Allen, Austin Corbett, Rob Havenstein
Expected Line-Up (Defense): A’Shawn Robinson, Sebastian Joseph-Day, Aaron Donald, Terrell Lewis, Kenny Young, Troy Reeder, Leonard Floyd, Robert Rochell, Jordan Fuller, Taylor Rapp, Jalen Ramsey
Quarter Back: Matthew Stafford
Kicker: Matt Gray
Expert Pick #1 – Under 48.5 @-110
Los Angeles Rams have been solid in the defense so far, and they have allowed only 20 points per match on the road. On the other hand, New York Giants have severe issues in the offense, and they are averaging only 13 points per game on the home field. I expect a tight clash that shouldn’t go over a 48.5 margin, and I’ll take that as my first pick.
Expert Pick #2 – New York Giants +8.5 @-110
Although they struggle in the offense, the margin here is pretty big, and the Giants might cover the spread here. Since I anticipate a low-scoring match, New York could keep the game close, but I still don’t see them winning this one. I’ll take the hosts to cover the number as my second bet.
Expert Pick #3 – Rams to win by 1-6 @+340
Los Angeles Rams have been pretty good so far in the season, and I expect them to continue in the same fashion. Since their defenses have been fairly solid so far, I see the Rams winning this one by a small margin, and that’s going to be my third pick with a bit longer odds.
