Carolina Hurricanes and the New York Rangers will face each other in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals. The hosts want to get back the advantage and remain unbeatable at home. The away side loos forward to building up on its last two performances and stunning the rivals on the road.
Carolina hasn’t capitalized on its positive momentum at the start of the series, and they are leveled with their opponents after four games. Nevertheless, they return to the home ice to try winning again in front of their fans. On the other hand, New York managed to bear in this tie and get things leveled. The momentum is on their side, and the visitors will try to take advantage of that.

Expert Pick #1 – Carolina Hurricanes to win @-150
The Canes have been pretty confident at home during the post-season, and I expect them to bounce back after two straight losses. They should extend their unbeatable streak on the home ice, and I’ll back them as my first pick.
Expert Pick #2 – Over 5.5 @+115
The Over hasn’t cashed yet in this series, but the margin remains 5.5, and the bookies offer the plus money odds. I don’t want to miss this opportunity, and these two teams should produce six or more goals in this clash. Give me the Over as the second bet.
Expert Pick #3 – Carolina Hurricanes Over 2.5 @-160
Carolina didn’t score more than twice in the first two games on the home ice, but I expect them to improve their offensive work. Although the odds are a bit lower than for the first two picks, this will be my second alternative for Game 5.
